Because I don't sleep, the mediaworks mux (is that the correct term?) (3 & c4) loops are down.

Yes the correct term.. Active this morning but I haven't checked them for content.

Thanks for the advice Fossie.

I have been using MP but this gave me an excuse to try GBPVR. I installed it and Coreavc Professional (to get PAFF support).

I was short of time last night and didn't get the channels scanned in to PVR. MP won't scan them either although it has got an option for Auckland test (i.e. it doesn't work).

I assume I will need to enter them manually. Does anyone know of a guide for this for GBPVR and /or MP?

Will MP work with Coreavc?

Spoke too soon, gbpvr is having 'issues'. Back to using DVBviewer (its very cheap and good) and eyetv.
TVNZ 7 is playing tv2 with 64kbps AAC audio (although I can't hear it)
TVNZ 6 is playing...TVNZ 6.
Sports extra is showing a 'coming here next year' splash.
c4 on the kordia mux also displays the sports extra splash.

As mentioned in the other recent DVB-T thread, you need to have the Cyberlink H.264 decoder installed to use these channels in GB-PVR. You cant use the CoreAVC decoder.

The problem I have with it now is that the config works, but now pvrx2 refuses to start.

Post the problem on the GB-PVR forums, then zip and attach the logs subdirectory, and I'll take a look for you.

I can confirm the changes to the TVNZ Mux

All channels now have 2ch AAC Audio

TVOne + TV2 are now 720p H264

Other channels are now 576i H264

TVNZ arent supplying Kordia any high def feeds for several more months, so any 720p versions of TV1/TV2 will just be sourced from upscaled versions of the DVB-S feeds.

Just checked my TVNZ samples

TVNZ 6 is live showing 16:9 576i H264 with 128k AAC Audio
TVNZ 7 is showing TV2 in 16:9 576i H264 with 128k AAC Audio
TVNZ Sports Extra is live in 16:9 576i H264 with 128k AAC Audio

TVONE and TV2 are currently blank but advertising 720p H264

The Kordia Mux has updated their channel tables, looks like some more radio stations are planned. Services are still running with MPEG2 audio at present.

im heading to barcamp tomorrow aswell openmedia. I could bring my usb tuner if you wanted to use it with your laptop.
