U live was live interaction. Not playing out already recorded things on a set schedule which is what I expect will be dead soon.

Not excluding the streaming/ondemand from being in HD.

richms:Being an SD broadcast I will probably not use it. Will see what the online stream looks like before I pass judgement on that.

Pop-up's online stream is 2600kbps if I remember correctly. Better than the OTA broadcast, but not the best quality. I assume Duke will be the same.

reven:

unless they show the shows hours after the US (not the next day, not 6 months from when they air), i really couldnt care.   Legends of tomorrow episode 5 airs tomorrow in the US, so they have serious catch up to do :)

I think Ill stick with hulu.

DC legends of tomorrow is on TVNZ on Demand at moment.

I've been watching it and I'm happy with quality of video stream. Seems the On Demand stuff for this channel maybe higher quality video then the live broadcast.

Drop off the +1 channels please, rather have fewer channels and have HD.

Can you stream to a Chromecast yet  or is it still considered piracy??

Call me heathen but I don't care if these networks are HD or not... It's hardly a first world problem in my mind...

(and yes, I have a nice HD TV and can appreciate it as much as the next person, but it certainly isn't a deal breaker for me)

Looks OK (from the clip).

Wonder what sports they will have - I saw AFL, NFL, Football and Basketball there. Not a bad lineup.

If only it was HD...

I cannot stand watching blurry content, it would be fine if I could non-fullscreen it on the TV so it was the right size for the low resolution, but you cant. I get really sore eyes from watching something I cannot focus on.

You may not care, but many do. You can't buy a SD tv today, yet TVNZ are launching a SD channel in 2016? Thanks, but no.

All there needs is a push for HD, No point complaining about it, If everyone emailed and posted mail to TVNZ  outlining the request and need for HD then their team may consider it quicker than expected. As long as its explained they may change their minds in how Duke can be transmitted.

Not too sure but I think the transmission costs a bit,  more on satellite because of bandwidth.

If satellite is too expensive, then fine, keep that as horrid SD. But there is no excuse for not having HD online.
