I'm pleasantly surprised. Duke looks like it could be quite good.

Looks OK (from the clip).

Wonder what sports they will have - I saw AFL, NFL, Football and Basketball there. Not a bad lineup.

If only it was HD...

unless they show the shows hours after the US (not the next day, not 6 months from when they air), i really couldnt care.   Legends of tomorrow episode 5 airs tomorrow in the US, so they have serious catch up to do :)

I think Ill stick with hulu.

"will be livestreamed at watchDUKE.co.nz"

livestreamed? Better than just broadcast I suppose, but why not put the catalogue ondemand?   Livestreaming is ondemand's poor cousin and is worse in literally every way.

Football looks to be German Bundeslige only.

Pretty much most of the shows are available or have been available ondemand.  If they're not still available ondemand then guessing that the rights have expired.  Jekyll and Hyde - shown first ondemand, finally making it to the linear option.  Other shows like Gotham will be more interesting - TVNZ has the broadcast rights, Netflix has the global "catalogue" rights for example.
