The long term goal is:
To become the best site of this kind, with the most reliable data, in the easiest to access form.

What would be great is if you could add a ratings system i.e. individuals could log in and have tick boxes next to each program so that they could mark if the shows are watched live or recorded.
Then gather the results and have a proper rating system (not like the current flawed ac nielsen system that has too smaller sample group & doesn’t include recorded shows in its final results)

Its pretty easy to get all the xml for all the channels (with HD flag) and make into an xmltv compliant file for a pvr system. But what the networks tend to get snotty about is people hosting that.

BTW, the above HD flag is pretty hit and miss though I've noticed.

That may be something that we include in a future release.

sbiddle: If you're importing the pvr.geek.nz file this doesn't contain the HD field so there is nothing you can do.

The pvr.geek.nz feed has contained the HD field (and more) for quite some time now.

We do not use the pvr.geek.nz feeds, instead, we source most directly from the broadcasters, with their permission.

It was just a pointer, as it's not mentioned on the site.

Cheers, I might have a look at this. I've still been using XMLTVNZ to import all my EPG data both for Freeview and TCL cable.
