I'm not too sure if this is the same deal as the NFL, where the same coverage is on ESPN, Surely the channel needs to be in HD now.

The live stream of it online might be closer to HD than the channel on tv.

Theres some nba on now, obviously delayed. I know the heat (it's their home broadcast) is involved but no idea who the other team is, as it is only in the pregame and they haven't mentioned the other team. plus the epg just says tvnz pop up.

edit: they're playing chicago.

and this obviously means they will have more than just the games espn has, and just in my opinion I don't think they will have any games that are on espn.

more thoughts: I wonder how this will affect the streaming of every nab game on tab watch&bet

It was a last minute add in, I watched the live broadcast at 1.30 this afternoon. Yes surprised they didn't update the EPG at 12am last night, it updates every 6 hours I recall. The only way I found out about it was the press release TVNZ released this morning dated yesterday
