Anyone know of a way to block the freeview on demand update from occurring?
I've tried getting in touch with Freeview and Tvnz but has been impossible to get anywhere. I've even tried to capture the ip address for the otn/ota updates but no luck.
It just ruins my TV and causes it to crash not even watching on demand content. It's a 3 going on 4 year old Samsung. Samsung were great and replaced the main board twice only to find its the Tvnz on demand update causing the TV to crash.
I've factory reset it and don't connect it to the internet and no problem but no longer a smart tv.

Edit:I did find some posts on a forum to block ota/otn updates but Samsung blocked this option in the last few firmwares so not possible.

Just turn HbbTV setting off, you won't see ondemand again.

EDIT: Sorry I misunderstood, I see that TVNZ updated their app.
