I must say that I just pulled an Nvidia Shield out of storage and set it up using his Kodi Addons and his work in this space really is appreciated.
Tried the app on my Samsung TV. I do like having the “proper” Freeview guide and now/next banners but the quality of the streams is terrible. Slow to start, low res and low frame rate - I swear they are no more than 15fps? Really poor implementation.
Anyone else with a 2018 Samsung TV having issues with this app?
Moved into a new rental which only has internet for TV and was glad to see that the Streaming app was available but after 30 seconds the stream freezes. Problem occurs on all channels.
Model is UA49NU7100 with up to date software
App version is 1.1.6
Have reinstalled the app several times with no improvement
