Samsung 32" LCD TV
Really old Media Center (it can't cope with HD) Cry

Returned the SKY box but have good DVB-T reception ... so I just neet the hardware at the other end now and this would fit very nicely.Cool

A brilliant device.  Here in Gisborne, I figure I need 500m mast so that I can receive Freeview HD broadcasts from Napier 200 km away or from Tauranga.  Meanwhile the HT9200DTR would look great as an ornament in my living room with my Samsung 40" LCD, Media centre PC and BOSE  sound system.

First thing I would do test it to death. There is nothing like the scorn of a wife that has missed a show because she left the myskyHD box in live pause the night before and it ran out of space :-)
Mysky bugs still present. I think the live pause bug is now named after me.

We have an old Dell PC running SageTV recording to a 1TB disk. We can record 2 freeview channels, but the aerial isn't quite up to handling the extra card needed to record any more than two!

Samsung 42" Plasma, Sony Stereo hybrid with Sony/AL speakers/sub and a Panasonic Hard Drive recorder that seems to have a slightly loose hard drive in it - when it's powered on, it makes a droning noise. The Digistar we have a the moment is nice, but this would be even better - I can kill off the Panasonic and Digistar!!! Cheers

Oh, boy, just in time, my freeview had died a death this week so a new one would be cool as

Gidday!

Check out our setup below.  Currently have SD thru satellite using a Mythtv Box - I need an excuse to upgrade to a HD TV!! Geekzone you can help me!

Sound system is an AWESOME 15 years-young classic Aiwa - only the amp and tuner still go but it sounds great.

(the wife would like to point out that the flowers on the TV are chives!  Funny eh?  Also the painting is by Graeme Sydney, just if you were wondering....)

I have a Philips 36 inch CRT TV. One of the few that supports HD up to 576p. Quality picture with no blurring on moving scenes.

A Hyundai AH-3110 combo receiver lets me watch Terrestrial and Satellite Freeview channels.

I play it all through a Panasonic Home Theatre SC-PT470GN-K system.

It would be great to have a DVR to record programs.

My current set up is nothing special,  just had a friend gift me a flat screen, and I had a hills free view which has given up the ghost,  still cant work out if its the box or the cable or the LNB.  I attach the TV as a secondary monitor to my computer to stream videos direct.
