Oblivian:

I watch Choice sometimes and I don't get that at all. I usually stream the @Apsattv playlist on a Shield feeding a Sony Bravia (pre-android) but I have also watched it on satellite. If you have to look hard to notice a problem, maybe it isn't such a problem after all.

Then perhaps if watching a limited amount on one of a couple of channels a couple of different people mentioned, a comment washing off experiences so flippantly could have been left off.

I said 'sometimes'. You even bolded it. I was simply stating that my own experience concurs with that of @old3eyes. Maybe a comment flippantly bashing me with posts from completely unrelated threads could also have been left off.

And now TV3 will get rolled up in the mega Discovery-Warner merger -- on the plus side, being in the same company as HBO has got to be helpful...

The transaction will combine HBO, Warner Bros. studios, CNN and several other cable networks with a host of reality-based cable channels from Discovery, including Oprah Winfrey's OWN, HGTV, The Food Network and Animal Planet.

Well the Food Channel was killed from Sky so I wonder where all that content will now be displayed?

Non-Paywalled story here: Discovery and Warner Media join forces to form new entertainment company | Newshub

One way to get HBO Max into NZ, feels like "Another Day, Another Streaming Service"

Is this the same? From the Herald article: 'The transaction will combine HBO, Warner Bros. studios, CNN and several other cable networks with a host of reality-based cable channels from Discovery, including Oprah Winfrey's OWN, HGTV, The Food Network and Animal Planet.
