Anyone picking up new channels in Rotorua? used to get 11 but MC7 just found 21 all of which don't have any signal except the original 11 channels.

The channel scan on my media centre PC in New Plymouth when it came on air a couple of weeks ago  also picked up two Rotorua channels "TV Rotorua" & "Info-Rotorua". Black screen & now/next showing "Nature & Science"/"Minimash" on EPG here for TV Rotorua but "Service unavailable" for Info Rotorua. I guess these channels aren't supposed to load in Taranaki and on a "Freeview certified" reciever probably don't

Is anyone in Rotorua having trouble keeping their channels? I have to re-tune my PC every few days as the channels get messed up?

They now list the areas that get Stratos, Parliament, etc and due to the BS surrounding licenses with JDA contracted regions it looks like they won't get any channels above Trackside, for now anyway.

So do the other areas just have 2 mux's or something to miss out on all the "awesome" content on the kordia mux? Or is there a third one with only prime and trackside running on it?

The Kordia sites transmit the Kordia mux. Kordia charge channels to join their mux.

The JDA sites have a locally generated JDA mux that can add local/national channels.  JDA charge channels for this too.

Some channels wouldn't see value in paying for both so that explains the area/channel variations.

don't mess with me.... i'm the hd insider....
