Good to see this receiver is still available and at the right price. The auction implies a PVR function by Xmas, just doesn't say which Xmas. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Electronics-photography/TVs/Satellite-receivers/auction-244480286.htm

So it says the same as last year then.

I posted earlier about my hideous experiences dealing with this rouge "Peter"...

He replaced my box with one with the most recent firmware, and now I get hard-core pixelation, and the unit reboots itself every 10 minutes or so..

Drives me crazy... can't believe this guy still has faith in his product that he is cheeky enough to send out another unit to me... (via a store of course - faceless as usual)

I'm out for a refund and if I don't get one off to the disputes tribunal! - Don't have time for rubbish products...

I must be the only person who hasn't had problems with an ET box.

It's running on the firmware it came with and seems fine. No way I'm gonna "up"grade the firmware tho.

Yes I would stay away from the upgrades thats for sure.

I ended up getting a refund from the retailer after putting a bit of pressure on them - who admitted that they have had many of them back for the same issues.

Don't forget guys - you have the right to return the product for a refund unless they can fix it! - I encourage you to do so if you can.
