factory reset? i did have this issue at one point but no longer have it.
Hello. Im not 100% full as yet, but when the T2200 does get full, what happens ?
are older recordings automatically removed ?
Is there a way to specify certain recordings NOT to be removed / kept ? & the oldest recording NOT marked is then recorded. how do we mark a recording to keep ?
EDIT: I have found the MARK and UNMARK options. Is a marked recording to be kept & not deleted ?
(it doesnt specify)
I have found a LOCK option too. Im guessing / it appears that this is a parental lock - so kids dont watch.
pretty sure it wont overwrite it will just tell yo its full and not record anything more
in the library you can go to the stuff you and press the yellow button then lock the series etc to prevent anything happening to it.
if you have 160hours have hd stuff recorded its unlikely you will ever watch everything there. so just delete some stuff.

From the user guide, iut tells us that a LOCKED show is for parental guidance (no kids can see it)..
It also advises that you can lock a channel (but it does not explain what that means).
Christene: Hi
I'm still having issues with rewinding. As in it won't preview the rewinding, or rewinds pretty much second by second even when on 32 speed.
Been happening for a while and damn annoying :-(. You can't go back and if you can you don't know where you are !
Any ideasL
Thanks!
Same here. The preview stops working, so you have to watch the timer value decrement instead.
The preview sometimes works, but usually it does not work if it is recording another program in the background.
It seems to have more luck rewinding SD recordings rather than HD ones.
I had an issue with my t2200 last night,
It has been on standby for a while as it still starts up and records while on standby i've noticed.
I turned it on to delete some of the recordings and the media wouldn't initialize - hard drive.
I had to turn it off and on 3 times before it finally picked it up and the hard drive worked ?
Have you still got your Tivo ?
If you get it the mod done on it then you'll have it back how it was before ..
All the ones done work great !
Came home tonight - looked on the freeview TV guide and found 1 programme i want to record tonight.
On the T2200 - I added a recording - series, so i exited & went to my SCHEDULE. guess what, there was only *ONE* programme showing as being scheduled - the one i just added.
I then saw in DUKE that Mythbusters was on Duke now (almost over). & its NOT being recorded (i did have it in my schedule)...
has anyone else's schedule disappeared ? the one good thing, is that i no longer have any shows "waiting for next event etc..." or whatever it says...
Has anyone tried using the File Transfer feature?
I needed to free up come space on the internal hard drive, so I copied some programs using "File Transfer: SATA to USB" onto an external USB drive.
Before the copy, I formatted the USB drive from the "Media Info" menu.
After the files had been copied to the USB drive, I selected "File Transfer: USB to SATA" and it responded with "No records". So the files that were just transferred to the USB drive cannot be moved back to the internal drive!
When I select USB playback, I am able to play the (SD) files that I copied, but there is no sound. If I attempt to play an HD file the T2200 hangs.
how do you have 160+ hours of stuff recorded? would you not be better to just cull stuff?

You are right but there are some programs I want to keep, which is why I want the File Transfer feature to work!
those programs not available on demand/via the app?
cant help you with the drive issue as ive never needed to use it.
