Hi. I am considering buying an Ultraplus X9200 and installing 2 x UHF tuners for FreeviewHD. I will still be recording other satellite channels on my Win7 media centre PC.

Can the Ultraplus play Mediacentre .wtv files in their native format? Is anyone able to test this for me before I commit to buying one?

Regards Allen

Make your requirement known to the supplier. If they say it won't do it, you have your answer. If they say it will, but it doesn't, you can return it for a full refund as "unfit for purpose". If they won't commit themselves, you won't have an answer to that question, but you may have an answer to a more important one.

Bad news for you. I can confirm it will NOT play .wtv files.  I had a dr who episode I had recorded on windows 7 media centre in wtv format.
Just tried it on hard drive and memory stick but the x-9200 wont even recognize the file. Wont show up at all.

HTPC Intel Pentium G3258 cpu, Gigabyte H97n-wifi motherboard, , 8GB DDR3 ram, onboard  graphics. Hauppuage HVR 5500 tuner,  Silverstone LC16M case, Windows 10 pro 64 bit using Nextpvr and Kodi
