This shows up on my Sony TV in Whakatane (Te Aroha transmitter) and tells me to check my Ethernet cable. This is despite my TV not having a port :)

And I think it has killed my warehouse veon 24"er - put it on 600, screen went blank and non responsive to buttons either on the remote or on the set, and I have to pull the power to turn it off, plugging it back in and the tv will turn on to a black screen and again not respond to anything.

edit: got it switched back to analog by mashing source as it turned on. will try a rescan and see if that sorts it. Not a good sign regardless.

I tried it in Dunedin with my MagicTV 3600, but got the "trying to connect" message even with an internet cable plugged into the back. Froze for the numeric channel buttons but could get out of it with the up-down channel buttons.

Unless you're running DVB-Viewer with the MHEG5 addon your PC won't know what to do with the MHEG5 content.

That's going to depend entirely where in NZ you are.

It's carried on the Kordia MUX, and the frequency is irrevelant anyway since a DVB-T tuner auto scans.

Thanks. Chch. Nothing shows up on our B series Samsung. Can't see any such channel on our AH3110 (non MHEG) receiver.

Tried it on my Sony Bravia which has an internet connection. Got a list of movies but nothing would happen when I selected a movie. In the end my TV froze and wouldn't respond to any keys on the remote. I had to pull the power out the back to get it working again.
