Following on from previous discussions about this, how are people finding these products now please?

I've been looking for this for a long time to supply my parents who are in DVB-S / Satellite freeview only land.  There were flaws early on with software, hardware resets, failure to records, random text for error messages etc ~ all the usual rushed to market with no commissioning done Undecided

I wonder how things are going now, and is it time to start recommending this for installs that you can't easily go back to constantly etc?  I'm only interested in official products here so you gain series link etc via the basic freeview EPG.
Thanks.

Info wise:

Formally there are only 2 approved satellite PVR units from freeview, which they call MyFreeview devices:

s7090....

after what has been close to 9 months of user testing and problem fixes we appear to have reached (for me) a fairly solid firmware....the box does what it is supposed to now and apart from little niggles such as the crappy remote it has become a good machine....
