Hi,

My old satellite rusted through and so we lost channels. I got a guy in to replace the satellite and he factory reset the dreambox. Now there is no "transponders" menu item in the settings like there was before. It's a dreambox 500s. Please could someone help me??

Thanks,
Dave

Was it the dish or the wee cabled thing on the arm (the LNB)

You may need to run initial setup again and set the LNB head settings correctly. 2 options. 11300 (newer ones) or 10750

If 1 is not going, try the other. And then re-scan

And if there is nothing called 'blindscan' which is what will re-find them, you can manually add the details

Thanks. It was the dish. The LNB is fine and the settings are universal 9750-10600. It's the receiver that's not working. It used to have an option for transponder setup in settings but now no more... weird! What could have happened??

If he broke it then he needs to fix it.
