MagicTV Guide not appearing

Hi all,

Our MagicTV has been working wonderfully, except that recently the Guide has not been available.

The Guide button (top-leftish) is still programmed correctly – if I press it during playback it says that the Guide is not available during playback.

If I press it during live TV, it just seems to do nothing.

Can anyone help?

Which model are you using? MTV3600TD or MTV3700TD?

Which firmware are you using?

Please reboot your unit.

Oh, dear. "Turn it off and on again" actually worked…

Judging by the power use the Magic TV never fully shuts down while in suspend mode so over time things may become unstable. After you've put it into suspend mode, flick the power switch at the back to fully turn it off at least every couple of weeks if you want to be more confident of its stability.
