hey guys,

forgive the extremely noob question, but for years I lived in an area with zero terrestrial reception and so my only knowledge lies with DVB-S....

we just bought a new house and it's got a satellite dish and an aerial like the one below:



is this a UHF aerial? it doesn't look like the ones I know with the mesh grid and the pointy thing, but a couple of houses on the street have the same one as this.

any help would be appreciated!
