Hi,

My dish tv t1020 won't boot, it turns on, shows boot on the front screen for about 5seconds and then turns off. I've tried unplugging it from the wall, and also removing all connections from it but it still doesn't boot. Any ideas?

Nevermind, I reloaded the firmware from their website and it's fixed it. Was there an ota update last night that might have corrupted something, or is it just one of those things

My T-1020 used to have issue's from time to time, randomly recording things, telling me a series was finished when it wasn't- just random little things like that. I turned off the ota updater and Things have been really good now for quite a while. The act of updating may have been causing the issues.  Of course it might just be pure coincidence but things are better. I now just check the dishtv web sight from time to time for updates

nice idea cloudy, been wondering why once in a while it basically loses all programmed recordings... firmware updates maybe wipe these and other settings.
