Anyone having issues with channels or re-tuning after the changes to the Satellite Lineup

One of my set tops now does not detect any channels

All OK on my Vu+ Duo. What's the model of the one giving you trouble?

Regional variations of TV3 detected fine here on my cheap Chinese STB. What i have notice though is TV3 is now slightly jerky, like it's dropping frames. Most noticeable on solid coloured backgrounds like advertising, Sunrise news ticker etc...I haven't test a recorded clip on my PC yet to check for dropped frames but i doubt it is that. Either my cheap box or temp satellite changes being iron out.

I had to rescan to find TV3, FOUR and C4 again. TV3+1 and TV3 HD weren't affected. All good now and my series links have now found the programmes I had booked on TV3 for the next few days.

Had reports of channels not being detected or at all on some STB's

Tech's report that the Media Works bandwidth rate has been reduced from 3Mbps down to 1.7-1.8

Also that Teletext is being detected on these channels now which is causing problems with SKY Kit.

Also TV3 have regionalised which would explain the drop in bandwith as the D1 Satellite is at capacity

Freeview have just updated and now my STB is detecting the channels

Tech Note :
Removed some defunct SSU entries that were in the BAT which will have pushed through a new version of the table. The SI appeared correct.

Sky also reported some problems earlier with MySky HDi STB, other kit seemed okay

When live pausing or playing back recordings of TV3 plus 1 or FOUR and you select a review or fast forward speed of greater than x6 the HDi STB will crash and will require a full power reset, or red button push to clear.

We believe that Mediaworks have added some teletext functionality to these channels and this is what is causing the issue.

Yup - jerky it surely was. Most noticible throughout Tuesday's 6oclock news. Didn't check today's, Wednesday. Didn't matter which of the now 4xTV3 feeds I selected. I'd describe it as unwatchable. Now wundrin if it'll get even worse if they try to put C4 back up in their own space.

Prety much unwatchable here, too - for all four TV3 channels on my MythTV setup.  Interestingly TV3+1 seemed fine though.

Aha, yes, I was wondering if this was just my DM7025, or affecting everyone... It's so unwatchable that I've taken to flicking back to terrestrial to watch TV3 (which isn't a bad thing since it's of superior quality - just inconvenient).

Good . At least i know it is a transX issue & not my STB. I did played a record clip on my comp without any issues...so hopefully media works will sort this out after they finish implementing their changes.

What they have done is add DVB subtitles as well. With 4 pretty much identical feeds of TV3 that screws up statmuxing bandwidth savings.

I doubt it will get any better. Isn't the shopping channel coming to the same transponder soon?

hmm

Major issues with TV3 on Tuesday with MythTV. Recorded What's really in our food and had major macroblocking etc. All other channels off that transponder where fine.

I might persuade the PVR to pick TV3+1 over TV3 for a while until I resolve the problem.

I think that the shopping channel will only be on Freeview UHF, it has been on sky since last week.
