And don't forget Mercedes Benz with the Stone Brothers as well. And there's also talk of DJR linking with Mazda.

It's a shame it's taken TV3 this long to give us the V8's in HD, maybe it's cause they are likely to drop them next year. They have been loosing $$ big time. But that's what happens when the coverage just gets worse and worse. No V8Xtra, second race moved to 11:30pm and everything so delayed you already know the results so makes watching pointless.

If TV3 is losing money etc, and losing the rights, why would they bother to do it in HD? I think the real reason it's put on late at night would be that no one watches it...

Was that the best live HD we've seen in NZ to date? Looked awesome to me.

C'mon! You've got to admit that the classic Bathurst races with Volvo's, Toyota's, Suzuki's and Nissan's were the best. Remember what gentleman Jim Richards said back when the Skyline GTR won!!!

Suzukis at Bathurst ?

You forgot the awesome Ford Sierra Cosworths.

So good even Brock drove them.

And yes, the HD coverage was great eyecandy.

Dolby Digital 5.1 please !
