Does anyone own one of these? I've tried searching on here and looked at some other threads already

Just making sure it's got reasonable remote and not one of the eXtra Terrestrial dealies!

I'm "OK" with no mheg5 as this will just be for the "old LCD TV" in the bedroom while we have a MediaPortal type solution recording programs etc in the lounge

TIA

Seems a bit steep when you can buy Freeview approved UHF STB's for less.

Avoid. Buy a Freeview certified STB. They're cheap and do the job and will work with features and specifications of NZ Freeview.

Hills unit has a very very short power cord though, and volume and channel up/down keys laid out wierd. GFs mom bought one.

Buy from Warehouse. They are soooo good with returns and warranty stuff.

Bought one of those for my elderly Dad. Works a treat.

Yes agree with the others above. The warehouse has chosen well with the base models they have opted to stock. For the price, if you're just after a basic display only unit, these are very good value.

Agree re the Warehouse Transonic units.

We have had one for several months and works very well.

There is a thread on GZ about this model.

Thanks guys. Will check out the Warehouse jobbie. Just that it seemed like a good "bonus" when the other one says it can record to USB devices too.
