Has any one else tried to move from IS5 to IS19 C-band dish yet , to see if you get any signal and channels on a small ( 90 cm ) I did , only channel I got is NHK HD on 4060 H 26590
You will find IS19 just a fraction to the left off IS5 when you are behind the dish and about the same elevation .
Is any body else going to give it a try ?
Its worth the change because NHK HD has a absolute brilliant picture quality !

Sounds great! I will give this a go with my 1.2m dish that I used to use for IS 5.

Hi Rojul,

I have been unable to get a signal from Intelsat 19 on C-band using a 1.8m solid dish.
Could you please tell me more about your set-up including the type of lnb you are using and the skew?

Thanks,

Peter.

Hi Peter

I moved my dish last tuesday and now I try to move it back to IS 19 but cannot find it any more !!!
I am not getting any signal at all on 4060 H
I should not have moved it :)
My LNB is a Pauxis PX1200 and my skew was a bit like with the 0 point at about 10 to 10
I am surpriced you are not getting any signal on your 1.8m dish !
I did read about that IS 19 has power issues and they can't use the full capacity

I would give it another try with your 1.8m dish

thanks

NHK HD coming in nice now

Peterds did you give it another try ?
You for sure should get it on your 1.8 dish probably need a sat signal meter , I did found it again with the sat signal meter
