shavian: How are updates identified? Our s7090 appears to be running "A3V_11_014E". I downloaded an update a few minutes ago, but there is no identification - so I don't know whether or not I need to install it on the S7090!
My records indicate the unit was running "A3 V ST18_11_014C" when bought in July 2012. Presumably the firmware has been updated OTA at sometime?
Since installing this unit we've had no-end of problems which DishTv has blamed on poor signals; we have S85/Q86 with minor fluctuations (less than 5%).
Most problems seem to be temporarily fixed by rebooting - how often should that be necessary?
Any helpful comments appreciated.
