So, looking for a DVB-T box which has:
  1. PVR, external USB is fine
  2. Mediaplayer functions which are not a rubbish half-baked second thought.

I have the Dish TV T1020 which meets requirement #1, but falls down hopelessly on requirement #2 with it's media player functions being really really quite useless, not just poorly integrated, but virtually unusable in my opinion.

Need (want) to play typical video formats primarily, although I can transcode if need be.

Recommendations?

A single tuner is fine.
