Fuzzy text and No Event Information

We have Dish TV and these two issues have just arisen. So no information onscreen about the programme and all text onscreen looks fuzzy.
Just can't figure out why this would be.

Which Dish TV model have you got? Sounds like the receiver has a fault. Is it connected to your TV via HDMI or analog?

The model is T1050PVR. It is connected via HDMI.

If you've already tried giving it a full power down and it still has the problem, I think you should take it back to the shop.
Is it set to 1080i output? If it's set to a lower output resolution, like 576, it won't look as sharp as it could.
