Hi does anyone out there watch tv from their vu+ on their computer?
i need some help. i have been doing so on every computer in the house since I configured everything last year. the other day I updated latest image by usb now i can't watch on computer. Even tried back up but that didn't work. i have completely forgotten how I configured it last time. Think it had something to do with 'webif"but the default settings there certainly aren't working. would really appreciate some help here.
thanks
Forgot to say I have no problem accessing /viewing recordings on the vu+ hdd from my computers. so net work setup o.k.

I think that the default port for the web interface was changed to (or from) 8080 from (or to) 80 on the Vu+ firmware at some stage (on the ViX image anyway). Try pointing your browser to e.g. 192.168.1.100:8080 and see what happens, or looking through the Vu+ settings for where the port is specified.
