This may be only free for 3 months, if you go to /Users/username/Library/Application Support/EyeTV you should  find the following document, not a full copy. This will probably pop up in front of the EPG 1 - 2 weeks before your 3 months is up.

For just 19.95 € for a full year, you’ll enjoy these standout features in EyeTV:

14 days of detailed TV listings in EyeTV’s Program Guide
See at glance what’s on TV tonight, tomorrow, or two weeks from now.

Search based on your own personal criteria
Find and record the shows that interest you: Your home teams and favorite sports; actors or directors; documentary topics; movies of a certain genre; and much more.

Smart Guides
Automatically record all the episodes of your favorite TV series, no matter when or on which channel it’s broadcast. You can even use Smart Guides to automatically record your custom searches.

The Gracenote Data Service requires an internet connection and EyeTV 3.6 (or later).
