 Should be fixed tomorrow...

Tomorrow (Tuesday 19th March) at 10am Freeview will change over to a new system for providing service information (SI) for Freeview|HD broadcasters. This change has been developed and tested on all Freeeview|HD approved products here at the Freeview test lab and we expect there to be no viewer impact. In the very unlikely event that a viewer has an issue then they should follow the manufacturer’s instructions for retuning their digital receiver. These instructions can be found in the user manual or online at the manufacturer’s website or at http://freeviewforum.co.nz/page/retune

Will this fix the sound but no video issue for Canterbury TV on some receivers, in particular the Panasonic brand?

Hi there,

I'm from CTV.

Issue dosn't effect all Panasonic equipment, Freeview, Kordia, and Panasonic are aware of the issue, and working on it.

Cheers,
Stephen

Would be nice if you could assure people on your CTV facebook site and perhaps on the station itself.

Hi Brunzy,

What's the particular STB that you are having booking problems with.

Suggest you start a new topic on this. HBTV is a related but different issue to the Panasonic's in Dunedin and Christchurch

Hi again Brunsy,

Would like the make of the STB that is not able to book a recording in EPG for MW channels

It may be an issue outside the Northern Terrestrial region (North of Palmerston North)
Media Works Channels have regionalised their Satellite, and it appears Terrestrial also
