I am running a Slingbox 350.

I want to feed it a 1080i signal and therefore need to find a Freeview device which does not conform to the reduced output from component.

Can anyone advise of any if the older Freeview devices are outputting 1080i on component?

As mentioned no Freeview approved devices support this as it isn't allowed. You'll pretty much have to try your luck finding a non approved device that allows this.
