I've been looking at dvb-s streaming/recording options and by far what seems like the best solution would be a gateway device like the hdhomerun.

My difficulty is that thee only devices I can seem to find are professional rack mount systems running into many $$$$'s.

Can anyone recommend a device?

I use a Vu+ Duo, to do pretty much what you say:

-  Receive any two Sky or Freeview transponders at once
-  Record at least two channels simultaneously (more if they are on the same transponder)
-  Live stream any channel from a currently tuned transponder via the LAN, while watching or recording another simultaneously
-  Stream any previously recorded file via the LAN
-  Copy any recorded files via the LAN for archival purposes

Not sure if that's what you are after, but it is a rock-solid piece of kit, which could be accessed remotely via a pinhole on my router should I so desire.

Maybe something like the TBS MOI box?

Won't do Sky, but it is a twin DVB-S2 network tuner in a small box.
