I have a Panasonic DMR BWT720 PVR and I seem to be unable to turn off AD.

If I do turn it off, it somehow resets itself to on again and will show up on recordings...I hate it!!

Any help???

Sounds like you have it set to automatic.
Have a look at pages 78 and 82 in your manual then in the Menu turn off "Automatic".

Thankyou.....was playing with settings trying to figure out the record issue....all fixed :)
