I have a brand new sat Box, DishTV s7070r freeview satellite box by DishTV.

It lets me into the window that allows me to book recordings but when I try and see what I have booked in the library it says 'Media Not Alive'. How do I fix this?? I'm not sure it is even recording, and I sure can't see anythin in the library to watch, delete etc

It sounds like it can't access the hard drive for some reason. I'd check to make sure you have the latest firmware, and if that doesn't correct it, give Dish TV a call.

I've got one of these and I think it's a heap of junk. It continually loses place if I try rewinding a program and jumps to the current time, discarding what has been recorded in the process. I get random reboots and sometimes the output is different shades of green requiring a reboot. Worst piece of machinery I've ever brought, bar none.
