Hi, we have a UHF aerial ... and then we have a 3 way splitter and then off one we have a 2 way (for upstairs).
With hthe Igloo box, it reports a SNR 24 and 48 for Sgnal Strength. The video still pretty good, we are in a velley with a phased array aerial. Does those figures sound low?
No idea about the Igloo box readings but thats a lot of splitting off a single antenna in a valley which I guess means a moderate to weak signal area. I'd be looking at putting up an additional antenna so you could run a 2 way splitter off each.
Are you having issues with reception? If so, try it without the splitters for a bit (yes, I know, this means just 1 device connected). If the issue goes away, you could look at getting a powered splitter/booster (sorry, not sure the specific name for them).
No issues with it, but the signal strength hovers around 8-15% - that percentage bar. Was surprised it is ok at this strength. From all that's been heard about optimising the signal, Freeview tv is quite forgiving ....
