Just purchased 2nd hand Digistar DSS-811u and it asks for the password which was previously set by last owner. The defaults are 1234 and or 9999 but neither works. Can anyone suggest a hack or bypass reset trick?
Have you tried 0000? Works on some other brand of STB's I've had. Might work otherwise contact the person you bought it from. If they're no help ask for your money back or report them to Trademe as selling stuff that doesn't work.
