Just noticed this morning that channel 29(chinese TV9) has gone freeview says temporarily unavailable i wonder how long that is for ha

Hmm, maybe its just CIA front for propaganda and has been caught up in the federal shut down :)

TV9 is off air and will be returning soon 

- its brief absence is to enable the extended coverage of CTV8 to Whangarei, Rotorua, Taupo, Gisborne, Taranaki, Wanganui, Manawatu, Wairarapa, Nelson, Timaru and Invercargill, as well as the launch of a new channel in November;

the broadcaster WTV has indicated that they will continue TV9 broadcast later this year or early next.

I am guessing said channel to launch in November is Al Jazeera English. Yay! Excited!
