hi i have a digistar dss 811u freeview and cant seem to get channel 1, tv1+, tv2+ and maori channel.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Those channels are on Tp 12483, try rescanning that transponder, if that doesn't work it might be that the skew on the LNB is out. Dont do factory reset as this isnt a freeview approved box and t will lose all its settings.

Reboot it and scan again, if it still doesn't work take it back to where you bought it.

TV1, 2 and 1+1 and 2+1 are all in the same digital bitstream (MUX), if you get one you get them all,

if you don't your decoder has a fault
