I have a PCTV nanoStick (73e) plug into a Zubuntu 14.04 computer and MythTV (0.27). MythTV when it scans for the Freeview DVB-T channels, it gets all of them for the 3 multiplexes (Wellington area), however when I go to MythFront and try to watch live TV, it does not play for any of the DVB-T channels. I can see all the DVB-S channels no problems. When I use Me-TV it does pick up all the DVB-T channels (however not the Chinese or sports channels for some reason) with the PCTV nanoStick and play them too. So something with my MythTV setup is wrong, the PCTV works fine with Me-TV.

Anybody has any idea what the problem could be?

When I look at the database, the Freeview DVB-T channels look like this:

Do you have the channels assigned to a DVB-T specific source?

Have you tried changing your source under the frontend to the DVB-T source?

It is assigned to source 5, not sure how to change the source for DVB-T in MythFront. I actually only have 2 sources, not sure why it is listing 5. 2 of them are saying they are not working. Source 4 is assigned to the DVB-S and 5 to DVB-T.

If you have 2 differnt dvb sources you have to be a little careful in linux as the devices will swap locations between boots ie dvb0 and dvb1 swap over

Depending on the driver you can force the DVB device on driver load.

I've three different tuners in my mythTV backend setup (2 x DVB-S and 1 x DVB-T), mythTV is a bit complex when carrying out the initial setup but once done I've never had issues between reboots although none of the tuners are USB.

Go through the mythTV wiki and step through the setup process again to make sure all is done.  Just in case reboots are causing issues have everything plugged in a reboot the machine, wipe the card list and restart the setup process.
