just some boring news

last ever paul henry show on tonight. Which im quite sad about as i like watching his terrible sense of humor late at night.

looks like he's going to do a dual stream tv/radio breakfast show. sounds great-hope I can tune in via the tune-in radio android app.

Oh and today was the last day ever Jim Hickey does the weather too. sad day for tv in general

-Steve.

They made a comment on the Six 0Clock news that Paul Henry and Jim Hicky changed the way New Zealand TV was presented between them.  Presenters were straight laced and serious before them.  I love them both, and from the so obviously genuine affection shown Jim as he exited the studio at the end of the news tonight, I think the people he worked with loved him as well.

Not so sure about Dan.  The hand gestures a different, but every bit as expressive as Jim's, but I can't see him breaking into 'Bad boys, bad boys.  What you gonna do?' in the middle of the forecast.  I think it more likely we'd see Dan doing something like this!

I'm going to miss how he likes to just dominate his co presenter and cut her off whenever he pleases

They were talking about Sir Paul Holmes, not Paul Henry.

To be honest I'm a bit disappointed about Paul Henry replacing Marcus Lush. Marcus is a more engaging broadcaster in my view.

Unfortunately in this PC environment  we seem to live in every one is so scared at being called a Bigot, racist, redneck,  you fill in  the blanks..   We will never see another Bill T,  Mcphail and Gadsby againin NZ..

I disagree that Billy t et all wouldn't be on tv.
They had wit.

Paul Henry has none, he is a Pratt.

Being unPC is acceptable if matched with Witt and sense of irony, he has none.

In short I find him an unfunny offensive little man.
