Hope you guys can shed some light...

I have a Panasonic DMR-BWT840GZ, and its really awesome recorder/player and I'm really pleased with it.

However, one thing I cant understand - say for example its set up to record the six pm news on TV1.  Some days it will record Channel 1 with its HD and 5.1 output, then othertimes quite randomly it will record the + 1 hour verson which is obviously in SD etc.

No idea why and its not as if there are 3 programmes trying to be recorded and its a clash.  Ive tried cancelling the series link and re-adding - but same thing happens.....sometimes +1.

Same thing is happening with Mrs Dastardly's Aussie Masterchef - sometimes the on time HD version and other times its the +1 hour......it appears to be totally random..

Anyone else affected?

I don't want no sugar in it - thank you very much

Other recordings overlapping with the HD program times?

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

PIcking up the +1 is a fail over "feature" of the Panasonics, if it misses a scheduled record start time for some reason and the programme is repeated later

Try having a hunt through the scheduled programmes, ("prog/check" on the remote,) and see what programmes it is expecting to record , that might throw some light on it

If you don't want to record the +1 channels, hide the channels in Setup >> Channel list.
