Your UHF antenna will be at fault, check the cables and connections. I personally recommend you get an aerial installer to come and overhaul your antenna system, remove old aerials and connections and re-run new coax. A good aerial installer will have a proper signal meter to ensure you get the best picture and minimize issues like you are having. if you are in a strong signal area you can do it yourself, in a medium to weak signal area I always recommend an installer with a proper signal meter.
