I hope someone can help. I know this box doesn't have a good rep but I'm hoping someone can help.
Just bought it second-hand and unhooked my sky box and used the same cords to plug in to the box but I notice there is an arial cable from the sky box to the dvd recorder  - however the hills box doesn't have an arial out to dvd :/

Would this be why I am getting no menu from the hills box?

Is it even possible to use this box with a dvd recorder?

If it didn't come with a manual, you can download one from Hills doc.

You need to connect it to either a tv or dvd recorder using a Scart connector - normally Scart to 3 RCA connectors (red/white for audio, yellow for video)
Something like Scart-RCA cable or can use an adapter for a standard 3-RCA to 3_RCA cable Scart-RCA adapter

This unit doesn't have the RF connector which you seem to have been using with the sky decoder, but you should get a much better picture using these connectors.
