Hi all,

Has anyone else had problems with the TVNZ transponder?  My signal keeps breaking up for TV1.. Signal Strength I can get up to 72% and Quality at 46%, but then it keeps dropping down to Quality 16%, and then it just breaks up.  Then it can pop back up ..

TV3 isn't doing this though, which makes me think it can't possibly be the LNB or dish positioning.. (which I tinkered with just now to check)..

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Hamish (Whangarei, Rurual DVB-S).

Working OK for me. Sometimes skew can be a bit sensitive on some transponders more than others. Especially if you've moved the dish, it would pay to realign it (perhaps when it's not dark!).

Other possibility is a failing LNB that it getting temperature sensitive, and stops working properly at night - seems to be particulalrly common with older Sharp LNBs.

No issues on the Freeview front, RunningMan is correct, might be best to check the LNB, it may need to be replaced, depending on how old it is.
