Hi all,

After upgrading to the latest firmware (to fix the missing/corrupt programme names for recordings), my MagicTV 3600 has got really annoying to use for playback. Every few minutes the picture will break up and it will get stuck trying to play a segment. Skipping past it usually works but we miss some sections.

Reception seems to be good generally, never notice any problem watching live TV.

I'm fairly sure it wasn't doing this before the firmware upgrade, not 100%.

Could it be the hard drive on the way out? Would formatting help?

(It also hangs and has to be switched off sometimes, but that's only maybe once per week).
