In the article linked to below it says that FreeviewPlus features "more than 600 on demand shows and movies". Can anyone tell me please whether there is an online index of the on demand shows and movies that are currently available? I am considering whether to buy an aerial box such as the DishTV T2200 so I don't currently have access to FreeviewPlus. I wonder whether FreeviewPlus is considering publishing such an index on internet so that prospective purchasers of FreeviewPlus recorders can see all the on demand content that is available.

Thanks, I guess you could add a few others to the above list, such as:

I guess this means that all the on demand content (including movies) available on FreeviewPlus is also available to anyone who has a computer with a suitable internet package?

I can see the advantage of having a box such as the DishTV T2200 that combines the above on demand services with free-to-air TV, but ONE overall internet index that shows all the on demand content and movies in one place could perhaps be helpful.

Are all the on demand services on FreeviewPlus free of charge, or do you have to pay to see some movies etc?

all on demand stuff is free of change, i dont believe any of the 4 services charge for it, as its just a replay of whats already shown on their free to air channel, and its only on their site for x number of days.

who do you propose creates and updates this listing? who pays for it?

and the same on demand programs are accessible via a pc as on a PVR, because a PVR just use an app to access the same information that you do on a PC. just like trademe has an app that allows you to see listings like you can on a computer.

I am finding this site very helpful and it shows what can be done.

A FreeviewPlus index site similar to this one for Netflix would also be good:

I agree that it would be a big job to create and maintain a website like the above Netflix site, particularly when you look, for example, at the large amount of on demand content on this site:

However, Lemon TV, referred to above is a good example of a useful index.

I haven't yet studied the FreeviewPlus EPG that includes internet on demand programs, but this no doubt is quite comprehensive.
