A couple of days ago my MagicTV 3600 lost channels 3-5 and 8-12
The TV connected to the same aerial connnection works fine
The freeview recorder in the other room is working fine
To try to fix the MagicTV I've:
- power cycled
- unplugged and reconnected the aerial
- searched for the missing channels
to no avail

Could anyone shed some light on this?

My 3600 does some strange things at times, I would suggest a factory reset and hope for the best :)

Personally this has not happened to mine , but the unit gets laggy at times , and turning it off completely for 5 or 10 minutes seems to do the trick .

My 3600 told me i had not hard drive ages ago , I did the factory reset and hey presto its there again . All programmes recorded were back as well :)

Thanks for the info
Any chance I'll lose my recorded programs if I reset?

The channels are back :)
I did not do a factory reset
All I did was watch and delete some recent recordings
Have plenty of disc space so can't think how that would effect it
Hopefully it stays good
