On the back of the Time Out section of today's Herald JB HiFi are advertising two sets with "Built in HD tuner"s. They are both Samsung sets, one a 40" LCD which is 1080P native, and the other a 42" 1024x768 plasma.

Anyone near a store and can pop in for a demo?

Just rang JB Hi-Fi Albany.  According to the salesman the Samsung TVs DO NOT have HD (DTT) tuners in them. His copy of the ad (not the Herald one but their instore one) doesn't have the Red "HD tuner" logo on the TVs.

Hope this helps.
