Hi,

I have the following set top box that I was using England:
http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct.action?product=VTX-D800U

Does anyone know if this should work here ?

At the moment I'm picking up 4 radio channels and the audio is fine.  Area is West Harbour, Auckland.  Can see the sky tower but it's more than 10 Km away.

Any help/suggestions much appreciated.

Cheers,
Adam.

You want to point it at the hills (over toward westgate and the motorway).

And no that box wont work it is mpeg2 while NZ uses mpeg4

Ok cheers,

But would being mpeg-2 prevent it from picking up the channels during a scan ?
