Is it just my system or is Freeview's EPG (off Optus D1) is out by an hour? It caused me major hassles with trying to reconfigure my HTPC until I checked on the STB (sat) and found the EPG in error. GrrrrrrFrown.

This was discussed before - it is up to your system to decide the time. Sattelites and transponders send the time in UTC.

Check if the system has the correct time zone setting selected.

Mauricio, Are you refering to my post yesterday (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=83&topicid=20812), or another one somewhere else? Not at home to check if anything has changed today, but as of yesterday, it was apparently a Freeview issue according to Openmedia!? No sign of any notice about this on Freeview's site. Wonder if they know? Might give them a call.

Ok, just spoke to the Freeview Helpdesk. While there are known issues with Zinwell/DSE STBs that can be remedied by manually changing the clock settings in the receiver, Freeview did acknowledge that they have reports of other problems like ours. They are 'currently working on the problem'. Unfortunately they could not give me an expected fix time except to "Check back in 24 hours".

I've tripled checked my settings on my FV pvr to be correct time settings, done a full power reset and it's still showing the EPG an hour out on all channels.

Changing the pvr time doesn't help, it merely shows the incorrect epg time an hour out. Yell

Perhaps daylight savings change snuck on TVNZ ? I've been told they are looking after the FV EPG, not TV3/MTS/etc

it's definitely how Freeview have the data set up.  On my Dreambox, the Freeview data is out, Sky is fine.  The time settings are set correctly, I changed them only last week to the right ones (thanks Bartender).  My (sort of) HTPC is the same.

Apols for starting the other thread, I was trying to figure out if it was affecting folks without an offical FV box, or everyone with the DVB-S EPG stream.

Since I started this thread......
It appears as of about 8pm last night (8 April) freeview have managed to 'right the ship' and the EPG is back operating as it should.
Perhaps someone at freeview could make a note in their diary for October so the same thing doesn't happen when daylight saving starts again.Smile
