Can anybody confirm if TV3 are transmitting any of their HD shows in AC3 audio? I've done a few scans over the past few days and am not seeing the AC3 channels of TV1, TV2 and TV3 that have been present in the past.

Has anybody got any sample recordings online with AC3 content at all?

Bugging me too, since last week. Im in Hawkes Bay. I was all set for a prisonbreak/bones night in 5.1. Tried 2 PC's, one was def. working 3 weeks ago w/ ac3

TV3 did say at one stage that while they were transmitting shows in HD that DD 5.1 audio would still be a few months away.

Both TVNZ and TV3 were transmitting their regular AAC stereo as AC3 as well, my suspicion is that once the network went live they discontinued this to stop people thinking there was something wrong since the AC3 feed was stereo and not 5.1

I see on the epg guide that some TV3 programes have a crossed out dolby logo next to the HD logo.I guess these shows will have 5.1 surround later when TV3 set it up.
